Text alert service for allergy sufferers launched

An Irish doctor has launched a mobile phone text-messaging service to alert allergy sufferers to high pollen counts.

Dr Michael O'Brien said the number of hay-fever sufferers in Ireland has doubled in the last 20 years and is continuing to rise.
