Seven companies express interest in power plants

Seven companies have expressed interest in bidding for new power generating plants.

The firms, two in Dublin, and one each in Antrim, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and Meath, could secure contracts of up to ten years for capacity with the ESB, potentially worth over €1.4bn.
