Microsoft is to show a prototype of a new personal computer at a technical conference to be held today. The next generation personal computer has been developed with Hewlett Packard.

Microsoft is to show a prototype of a new personal computer at a technical conference to be held today. The next generation personal computer has been developed with Hewlett Packard.

The new PC is described as the Next Generation Enterprise Personal Computer and has been code-named “Athens”. It has a wide flat-panel display with a CD-ROM drive, camera and telephone handset. Bluetooth wireless is part of the technology used.
