Govt urged to purchase from home market

The employers' body IBEC has urged the Government to purchase 20% of its technology requirements from small and medium businesses in Ireland.

IBEC also said that 30,000 job could be created in the Irish IT sector if foreign multinationals with operations in Ireland also bought from the domestic market.
