Tesco unveil €48.1bn in sales

Supermarket giant Tesco cheered the City in London today by unveiling £28.6bn (€48.1bn) of annual sales thanks to rapid international expansion and an increase in non-food sales.

For the core UK supermarket business, sales were up 7.9% to £23.4bn (€34.01bn) with like-for-like growth of 4.1%.
