A major transatlantic airline is to cut 1,200 jobs worldwide and reduce its UK to the United States services because of lack of demand, it was announced today.
Continental Airlines is cutting its Gatwick-Newark and Gatwick-Houston operations from two flights a day to one a day between April 7 and May 2.
