The boss of Ireland’s national airline today welcomed news that the company had turned a €52m in 2001 to a profit of almost €64m.

The boss of Ireland’s national airline today welcomed news that the company had turned a €52m in 2001 to a profit of almost €64m.

However Aer Lingus chief executive Willie Walsh said this was not sufficient progress to allow the carrier to relax.
