Businesses praise health and safety inspections

Ninety per cent of businesses inspected by the Health and Safety Authority last year said the inspection had a positive impact, according to a survey conducted by the authority.

The HSA said 78% of respondents also reported that improvements made on foot of inspections reduced the chances of a person being hurt.
