Irish airline Ryanair has announced plans to lay off 400 workers at the Dutch low-cost airline Buzz, which it bought for almost €22m earlier this year.

Irish airline Ryanair has announced plans to lay off 400 workers at the Dutch low-cost airline Buzz, which it bought for almost €22m earlier this year.

Ryanair, which is due to take over Buzz's business on April 1, also announced plans to axe 12 of the airline's routes and to ground all flights for the month of April.
