Nokia to axe 550 jobs

Nokia, the world’s biggest mobile phone maker, is axing 550 jobs in its networks operations in Britain, the US, Sweden and Finland.

The lay offs are part of the company’s plans to reduce its research and development plants as tries to cut costs and improve efficiency.
