The number 2 mobile operator in Ireland, O2, has announced the launch of 'hot spots' in 12 locations around the country which would allow users high speed access to the internet without using a dial-up connection.

The number 2 mobile operator in Ireland, O2, has announced the launch of 'hot spots' in 12 locations around the country which would allow users high speed access to the internet without using a dial-up connection.

The service which is initially aimed at the corporate market is available in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork.
