British nuclear group sells Canadian subsidiary

Beleaguered nuclear power group British Energy today agreed a key step in its crucial restructuring plan, by clinching the sale of its Canadian subsidiary.

British Energy is selling the division under plans to shake up its business to stave off the threat of insolvency.
