Dow Jones completes another week of gains

The Dow Jones industrials posted their eighth straight week of gains despite a day of modest declines yesterday, as investors opted to cash in some quick profits.

Analysts said the drop on light trading wasn't particularly surprising after blue-chip stocks surged 255 points on Wednesday on better-than-expected economic data. Wall Street was closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
