Microsoft: Gates sees no cause for appeal of antitrust ruling

Microsoft Corp chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates said the software giant does not expect to appeal a judge's ruling to endorse an antitrust settlement between Microsoft and the US government.

"We're not seeing anything that would be cause for appeal at this time, but we need to make a full assessment" of the ruling, Gates told reporters.
