Waste crisis will damage land value, surveyors claim

The Society of Chartered Surveyors has claimed that land values in urban areas will fall dramatically unless the Government takes radical action to tackle Ireland's waste crisis.

John Daly, the group's president, said landfill sites currently account for hundreds of acres of land in urban areas.
