The number of new cars registered in Northern Ireland fell by a 17% during the second quarter of the year, according to figures released today.

The number of new cars registered in Northern Ireland fell by a 17% during the second quarter of the year, according to figures released today.

Figures from the Department of Regional Development’s Central Statistics and Research Branch recorded the number of new cars registered between April and June as 19,846 – against 23,996 during the same period in 2001.
