CRH companies named in US litigation cases

Construction and building materials group CRH has said some of its operating companies have been named in asbestos litigation currently underway in the US but added it does not believe the litigation will have a material impact on the group's financial position.

CRH said companies in its distribution group in the US have been named, together with a large number of other unrelated parties, in 244 pending cases involving a total of 251 claimants.
