Blair sees no reason for Iraq conflict to delay euro referendum

UK prime minister Tony Blair has said there is no reason why a conflict with Iraq should delay a British referendum on adopting the euro.

Speaking ahead of this week's Labour Party conference, Blair said no firm date had been "pencilled in" for a referendum on the adoption of the single European currency.
