ICT Ireland has called for a co-ordinated national policy on research and development as part of a bid to strategically attract research projects into the county.

In a report released on Wednesday, titled R&D: Securing the future of Ireland, the body warns that Ireland's poor record when it comes to investing in R&D projects could serve as a disadvantage when assessing the country's long-term competitiveness.
