Siemens announces 4,000 job losses

Siemens has announced that it is to cut 4,000 jobs from its IC Networks unit, and comes as the group sees orders plummet.

Last quarter, Siemens saw orders plummet by around 20%, although earnings for the period beat analysts expectations.
