Tech sector faces imminent crisis

According to ICT Ireland, the body representing the high-tech sector, the Irish technology sector may face an imminent shortage in IT skills in the medium to long term, if the Government does not address the drop in number of students opting to study computer related courses.

This year, the number of Leaving Certificate students opting to study computer related course fell by over 25%.
