Ford recalls 78,500 Ka cars to fix brake line fault
Ford Motor Co has recalled 78,500 of its Ka models worldwide, including 4,010 in France, to remedy a fault in the braking system, according to a spokesman at Ford Finance.
He said the fault concerns the fitting of flexible cables on the front brakes which in certain cases rub against the wheel rim and become damaged.
The cars concerned were produced between Jan 12 and June 29 last year, the spokesman said.
