ICMSA call for major financial package
A major financial package is urgently required to prevent farmers from going bankrupt following the recent bad weather, according to the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association.
Irish farmers have been forced to fork out €150m on replacement feedstock as a result of the consistent rain over the past 3 months. ICMSA boss Pat O’Rourke says financial support is crucial, as things were bad prior to the recent heavy rainfall.
