Walsh imposes limits on food imports

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh has signed an order imposing strict limits on food imports from EU and non-EU countries.

The order prohibits personal imports of animal-based products from non-EU countries, puts a limit of 10kgs on personal imports of dairy produce and meat from EU states and tightens rules governing commercial imports.
