Savoury crackers produced by Marks & Spencer have been withdrawn from shelves in Singapore amid fears that their poppy seeds contain traces of morphine.

An investigation has been launched by the Singaporean authorities into whether the crackers contain traces of the controlled drug which is banned on the South-East Asian island.
