Sun Microsystems develop new strategy

Sun Microsystems has announced a new strategy that it says will dramatically change the economics of delivering web services.

The company has launched the new Sun ONE Application Server 7 product line and a new business model that will make the core version of its Java technology-based application server free to enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) on all leading platforms.
