Ryanair to launch Swedish services
Ryanair is to launch internal services in Sweden where a near monopoly for Scandinavian Airlines System AB has led to some of the "most expensive" domestic flights in Europe, the budget airline's chief executive Michael O'Leary said.
According to the news agency TT, O'Leary said Ryanair's prices are set to undercut SAS by 40% on 5-10 routes to be launched over the next four years.
A Swedish hub has not yet been chosen although discussions are ongoing with several airports, he added.
