Telecommunications giant Ericsson has announced plans to shed a further 150 jobs in Ireland due to a downturn in the company’s worldwide sales.

Telecommunications giant Ericsson has announced plans to shed a further 150 jobs in Ireland due to a downturn in the company’s worldwide sales.

Ericsson told its workers this morning that it is seeking an additional 150 voluntary redundancies at its plants in Athlone, Co Westmeath, and Clonskeagh in Dublin.
