IBEC: Waste costs threatening firms

The employers’ body, IBEC, has claimed that Irish businesses are creating so much waste that it is actually threatening their profit margins.

Speaking at a conference in Dublin, IBEC’s Donal Buckley said regional waste management plans are not well advanced and admitted that industries are creating costs for themselves by generating large amounts of waste.
