Cyber crime 'costing companies millions'

British firms were today urged to step up defences against hi-tech crime amid fears that more businesses were facing closure because of heavy losses.

Credit card fraud, viruses and various forms of hacking were costing companies millions of pounds a year, warned the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).
