Euro 'bound to fail' - Thatcher

The European single currency is destined to fail and Britain should never join, Margaret Thatcher has argued.

The former Prime Minister warned that the euro would fail ‘‘economically, politically and socially’’ in her new book Statecraft, which is being serialised in The Times.
