Lufthansa blames Sept 11 for profits drop

Lufthansa is blaming September 11 and a weak global economy for its net loss of £364.2m (€588.9m) in 2001.

Germany's largest airline says it can't pay a dividend after the losses, which compare to a profit of £424.7m (€686.7m) in 2000.
