World Cup travel packages 'selling out fast'

Irish travel agents have said flights and accommodation for the World Cup finals this summer are selling out fast.

The cost of travelling to Japan and South Korea appears not to have deterred Irish soccer fans, who have already booked trips to the far east.

A 14-night package, including flights, accommodation and match tickets, costs around €6,000.

Ireland play their three group games against Germany, Cameroon and Saudi Arabia in Japan.
