Novartis plans sale of health and food business

Novartis is planning to sell off its health and food business within six months.

The Swiss pharmaceutical group says sales in the division have been flat.

Sales in the company's other non-pharmaceutical businesses are growing.

The division has 14 brands, including Ovaltine and energy drink Isostar.

Annual sales are around €560.8m.
