Microsoft has said that it has discovered a security hole in the XP Universal Plug and Play [UPnP] service, which it says is a serious vulnerability.

Microsoft has said that it has discovered a security hole in the XP Universal Plug and Play [UPnP] service, which it says is a serious vulnerability.

It has recommended that Windows XP and Windows ME users, as well as Windows 98 and 98SE users who have UPnP running, immediately download and install the patch.
