Bush says Congress has reached compromise deal on fiscal stimulus

President George Bush said that congressional Republicans and Democrats have reached a compromise deal on a fiscal stimulus package.

"I am proud to report that members of both political parties in both bodies of Congress have come to an agreement as to how to stimulate our economy," Bush told reporters at the start of a meeting with a bipartisan group of lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
