IMF predicts slowdown in Ireland’s growth rate

The International Monetary Fund has predicted that Ireland’s gross domestic product will grow by just 3% in 2002, compared to 6.1% this year.

The body also predicted that Ireland’s unemployment rate will grow to 4.5% next year.
