Bo I's variable mortgage rate drops

The Bank of Ireland has announced that it is to cut the variable mortgage rate by a 0.5 per cent, bringing it to 4.64%.

The reduction, which will take effect from Thursday morning, is in response to the European Central Bank cut of 0.5% earlier this week.

Bank of Ireland says that they will continue to monitor their rates in light of any further ECB reductions.
