Hewlett-Packard has been chosen by Ireland's Ulster Bank to upgrade its core banking system in a deal worth Stg£5.7 million.

The development will align Ulster Bank’s technology with its owner's - Royal Bank of Scotland Group - standards, providing real-time, on-line core banking for Ulster Bank’s 200 plus branches.
