The country's last remaining state-run bank, ACC, was tonight set to be sold to the Dutch co-operative Robobank.

ACC set for sale

The country's last remaining state-run bank, ACC, was tonight set to be sold to the Dutch co-operative Robobank.

The move is being made in line with the wishes of Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy, who indicated earlier this year that he wanted ACC - the Agriculture Credit Corporation - to be disposed of.
