Aer Lingus board meets to discuss rescue package

The board of Aer Lingus was meeting today to discuss a rescue package for the embattled Irish airline.

Members will meet amid speculation that as many as 2,500 jobs could go at the firm, which has seen bookings slump by up to 80% on some routes since the terrorist attacks on the United States.
