Asian stock markets closed mixed Tuesday, with prices falling in Tokyo but rising in Hong Kong.
Japan's benchmark 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 123.53 points, or 0.98%, to 12,574.26. On Monday, the average declined 92.59 points.
