Ensure foot and mouth jobless get dole: INOU

The Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed has called on the Government to guarantee that workers temporarily laid off because of the foot-and-mouth crisis will receive the dole immediately.

INOU General Secretary Tony Monks said many of those affected are in severe financial straits.
