Peugeot confirms talks with Toyota

Peugeot has confirmed it is in talks with Toyota amid reports that they may be planning to team up to produce small cars.

It is reported that the groups are developing a project for the joint production of small cars, with the first car due to roll off the assembly lines in 2004.
