NBC may make 10% of staff redundant

US broadcaster NBC is to lay off up to one in 10 of its workforce, according to reports.

Daily Variety reports NBC is make up to 600 staff redundant over the next six months because of weakening ad sales. The cuts will affect every division of the company, which is home to ER and Friends.
