Cybercrime is not the only reason why cash remains king

Despite much hype about the benefits of a cashless society, secure government printed notes and minted coins remain vitally important, says Alfred Rolington.

When the world’s reserve banks need to create more money, they don’t turn to printing presses any more. With a few keystrokes, trillions can pop into circulation, as happened after the 2008-2009 financial crisis.
