The turnaround currently being seen in Ireland’s property market is not a quality recovery, according to Goodbody Stockbrokers.

In a new report examining the market, Goodbody said yesterday that while our property cycle has moved firmly into recovery mode, it is still only in its infancy.

It added that while prices have grown by 17% since 2012, they remain 42% below peak and — because of growing supply shortages — should increase for years to come.
