Last week, I made a significant investment in my business. We have been going through a good upturn and I thought that now was the time to put that money back into the video-creation side of what we do. The thing with technology now is that it renders two-year-old equipment obsolete in no time. So quick is the pace of change in the multimedia industries that there is a constant revision of what you have and how you can make it better.

In any business, at some point, there will be a revision of what the company needs to do to improve. The decision of where to put your hard-earned finances can always be tricky — whether it’s equipment, computers or software. Here are some things to remember when doing so:
