I suppose we should be grateful that Aer Lingus cabin crew have accepted an invitation to talks at the Labour Court.

Customers can’t be victims of airline disputes

Surprisingly enough, not everybody feels grateful; 70,000 or so people are due to fly to and from Ireland on Aer Lingus flights on June 16 and 18 yet they have no guarantee these flights will operate.

Indeed, the odds are that the flights will not take off given the considerable differences between both sides in this rostering argument. UPDATE:
