€600k for firms led by women

The investment will be made via the agency’s Competitive Start Fund for Female Entrepreneurs and will cover firms in the consumer products, medical devices, e-health, online applications, traded services and enterprise software sectors.
“A key part of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs is encouraging more businesses to start-up, grow, and create jobs. Making sure that we have an increase in the number of female-led start-ups is part of that strategy,” Small Business Minister John Perry said.
